Frequently asked questions about industrial doors

ARM DOORS supplies industrial revolving doors, swing doors, sliding doors, sliding doors for refrigerators and freezers, high-speed doors and doors for air-conditioned rooms.

You can find some standard dimensions in our configurator. These dimensions are given because they are the most common dimensions.

• For some revolving doors we use a standard passage of 900 x 2,200 (h) after installation
• For double revolving doors, we use a standard passage of 1,800 x 2,200 (h) after installation
• For sliding doors, we use a standard passage after installation of 2,000 x 2,500 (h)
• For high-speed doors we use a standard passage after installation of 2,500 x 2,500 (h) and a standard passage after installation of 2,000 x 3,000 (h)

All ARM DOORS doors are custom-made. This means you can determine your desired dimensions yourself.

The thickness of an industrial door (both revolving and sliding doors) is 40 mm.
Cold cell doors have a thickness of 65 mm or 80 mm. Freezer doors have a thickness of 100 or 120 mm.

Yes. All doors that ARM DOORS manufactures are custom-made. This means you can determine the desired dimensions of the door(s) yourself.

ARM DOORS also produces doors for outdoor use. The 340 TN revolving door, among others, is a door type that is regularly used outdoors. In addition, ARM DOORS supplies high speed doors that can be used outdoors.

To ensure optimal operation and lifespan, regular maintenance is important. Check the door regularly for wear and defects.

ARM DOORS also produces and supplies stainless steel doors. These are not offered via the configurator. For more information about stainless steel doors, please contact one of our staff.

ARM DOORS does not stock any doors. All doors are assembled and produced individually for the customer.

ARM DOORS produces vertical sliding doors for refrigerators and freezers. The vertical sliding doors are not offered in the configurator. If you would like more information about vertical sliding doors, please contact one of our staff.

ARM DOORS has a range of different polyester door leaf styles for industrial doors, cold room doors and freezer doors. ArmorTuf® and Glasbord® are the leading brands in polyester sheet metal work. These sheet metal processing companies have both an international HACCP certificate and a Greenguard Gold certificate. ARM DOORS also applies FRP to these two A brands, which do not have these certifications but fully meet the quality requirements.

ARM DOORS manufactures the doors with polyester door leaf surfaces in-house. This means we can offer customized solutions for every industry.
